    came in and dressed quickly, expecting to get some money thrown up amongst them, as usual. When they came up to the place where they expected to find the strange gentlemen, there was no one there; but they saw a coffin borne by four men, and other men walked after it, coming along the road from the west. The whole funeral went into the Castle, and the boys went in after them to find out who was dead, but not a trace of the men or the coffin could they find. This frightened them a bit, and they left for home without delay.
