We said that we would go to the wake instead, and as Billy wanted me to send back the 'Concertina' for the night, we brought it with us and that maybe we would meet someone who'd take it from us at the head of the lodge road. So we did- a girl that was coming from Billy's house. We asked her if there was a great crowd at the wedding. The marriage didn't come at all yet says she, there's only a few women behind.
Begorra! says I. I heard the galloping of horses and the noise of cars about an hour ago, and they should be landed at Billy's house long ago. They didn't come yet says she. I'm just after coming from Billy's house.
