    Not far from here, there was an old thatched house.

    and she ran out to call Larry who was outside looking after the horses and cows. When Larry came in the Cat was gone.
    A few evenings after Larry went to the stable loft to throw down some hay to the horses and what should be above lying in the hay, but the cat. Bi ag imtheacht as san arsa Larry leis an gcat. The cat rose up and got as big as a small calf and moved slowly towards the window Larry waited to see no more, but ran down the ladder as fast as his legs would carry him and in to the kitchen to tell the story to Mary. He took the tongs and ran out again in search of the Cat, but could not find him.
