  1. Give a list of the local beliefs with regard to the weather
    When there is a good crop of wild fruit on the trees it is the sign of bad weather.
    When the fur gets thick on the animals it is the sign of bad weather also.
    The wind at certain points
    When the wind blows from the South it is the sign of rain. When it blows from the North it is the sign of snow. When it blows from the East and West it is the sign of dry weather.
    Birds and animals as weather omens
    When the birds flock around the field it is a sign of bad weather. When the wild geese remove from the North to the South it is a sign of bad weather.
    Colour of sky
    When the sky is clear and blue it is the sign of good
