    When playing Dan, Dan thread the needle, two tall girls must catch each others hands so as to make an arch to let the line of girls through. While going out through the arch we say
    "Dan, Dan, thread the needle
    Dan, Dan sew
    We all come to school to day
    Hee Hi Ho"
    Then two girls pretend to have a prize each. They ask the child at the end of the row which prize will she have. Then she goes behind the girl who has that prize. When each girl has taken her
