    The sieve means to get blackened.
    On Ash Wednesday people are supposed to go to Mass.
    On Good Friday people are supposed to visit the Church and make the Stations of the Cross.
    On Easter Sunday people get up early to see the sun dancing in honour of our Lord.
    On Whit Sunday people say if any one is born on that day they be called Kinkishon. That means if anyone would hurt you, it would never get better.
    On May Day the children make a May bush and the people throw May flowers up on their houses.
    On Saint John's Day people make a bonfire on that night.
    On the feast of Saint Peter and Paul, the people also make a bonfire.
    On hallowe'en get fruit and nuts, and children play ducking for apples.
    On Saint Martins Day people go to Mass in honour of Saint Martin.
