  1. There is a well at the foot of the mountain on Joe McArdles land in the townland of Rampark called "Tobar na Náilte". There is a Mass rock beside it and it is supposed that the priest's long ago in the penal times used to say Mass there and get their water from the well.
    There is a well in Annalaughan where James Rice used to live called "Tobar na Grasta". Which means in English, "The well of grace".
    There is a well in Patrick Quinn's land called "Tobar Domhnaigh" and it said that one time there was a chapel in Mountbagnal
