There is a holy well near Lurgankeel called St. Brigid's well or Sunday well. People used to visit it, and it is related that a man's eyesight was restored after bathing his eyes in the water. It is surrounded with stones, and there is a very high ash tree growing over it. The water from this well is never used for household use. St. Brigid's arm is supposed to be buried beside Sunday well.- Collector
