    People from all parts of the surrounding districts come and take this clay away and they are supposed to replace it with some other kind of clay.
    Father Pentany came to Louth driving in a low backed car. He was forty years in Louth and died when he was seventy eight in the year 1880. Before he came to Louth he was a curate in Clogher Head/
