- Standing to the east of the little village of Dromiskin on an elevated position stands the ancient Round Tower. It has withstood the many centuries, conflicts, and weathers and as if to defy the latter it still overlooks the village.It is a beautiful building no doubt; cylindrical in shape with a conical top. It's rounded circumference of fifty three and a quarter feet and height of about sixty feet give it an aspect of a giant pole thrust through the ground by some invisible and supernatural being.(continues on next page)
