    1. "Lanny" mór. Name of big field in Mooretown
    2. Mullach mór. Field very elevated.
    3. The Shra. Name for low-lying land owned by Mr Neary Whiterath.

    Whiterath. Many big boulders on this field.
    5. Park-a-lough. Property of Mr Neary Whiterath.
    Hollow in centre of field usually filled with water.
    6. "The bla.roo". Field property of Mrs Ginnetty, Dromiskin. Its soil is of a dark red colour.
    7. "Gallows hill". A hill in a field owned by Joseph Kinahan, Dromiskin. It is said that in olden times a "gallows" was erected there.
    8. "The Mount". Name of field owned by Mrs Neary, Whiterath. Mound on hill in centre.
    9. "Honey-field". Field owned by Mr Michael McKeown, Dromiskin. Very rich soil.
    10. "The Carra beag". Small marshy field owned by Mr Thos. Byrne, Mooretown.
    11. "The Garry mór". Paddock owned by Mr John McDowell, Marsh Farm, Mooretown
