Ardee, - There is a cure for the mumps, some man whose father and mother are both alive. He brings the person who has the mumps out to the pigstye with the horses winkers nine times saying pig ná muc na hoca poc for three days
A sure for sore throats the child whose father is dead when it is born it has the cure, when the child, blows its breath into the persons face that has the sore throat, he is cured. Written by Angela Martin 28th January 1938
