    (a) Ford at which Cuchulainn killed Ferdia,
    was somewhere to the west of the present
    bridge across the Dee, near Boat Trench.
    (b) Cuchulainn's grave supposed to be near
    Mandistown Cross.
    (c) Ruins of Ancient Castle found in Cummin's Sand pit at Mullanstown (lime, sand & stone foundation).
    No 29. Iron Foundry in Irish St. no longer exists.

    No 28. The Black Road (now only a lane)
    was the Main Road between Belfast
    and Dublin. It passes by Garret's
    Mound in Milloxtown, and was
    supposed to pass through Dawson's
    Demesne. Debidy Lane is supposed
    to be a continuation thereof.
    Durrican's Lane in Stickillen was
    also supposed to be a main road
    in ancient times.
