  1. There was once a clergyman who lived in a small village called Stabannon quite close to us here.
    One morning he had family prayers in his house. He read the text, "And he gave to every man a penny. There was one of his employees present with them in the room, and when he heard this text being read, he at once exclaimed, "Sure it would not keep him in tobacco."
