There is no stories or traditions connected with the forge. They are centre for storytelling, and playing cards. The forge has not figured in any historical way or national event.
My Grand Aunt told me that she remembered a forge belonging to her Grangfather, and that it was thatched. They tanned the leather themselves. It was built in the yard at home.- Collector
