There are many signs by which people judge there will be bad weather.
If a cat sits with his back to the fire there will be rain.
If a dog eats grass it is a sign of rain.
There will be rain if there is a halo around the moon at night.
If when it is raining there is enough blue sky to make a pair of breeches for a cat it will soon stop raining.
When it is going to rain the cattle will all go to the highest place in the field.
