  1. Mrs Bessie Finnerty of St Joseph's Terrace Mell Drogheda was coming in the Drybridge Road she heard the Dead Coach but she could not see it at first but heard the trotting of the horses feet. Then she saw a coach drawn by horses with no heads and the coachman had no head. It passed her by at Pentony's house and she lay down in the ditch as it passed.
