“Long ago there were people here who believed in fairies.”
Long ago there were people here who believed in fairies. There is a place not far from our house called "The Awls" where people from Drybridge would come over to Waterunder. Sometimes they would stay late at nightI used to hear my Granny telling a story about a man that was going home one night and the fairies were playing football. This man went to kick the ball and a fairy ran under his legs and broke his leg and he was there till morning.- Collector
