    Near here there was a great big stone castle beside the road.

    Here is a verse of a song about it
    "There is a ruin hoary of ancient glory,
    That proudly soars oer the billaw's tide,
    In the days of yore Mc Donoughmore
    Of lime and gore built that court with pride
    For when alas he brought home the glass to glaze those sashes sublime Tween
    The carmen had too much drink at the [?]
    And the glass came smashing into Brogeen
    Brogeen is a little river in front of the castle and the castle is called "Old Court"
