    During the fourteenth century witches were common in Ireland. One of these witches lived in a wood near Lord Gormanston's castle.
    One day as Lord Gormanston was out hunting his huntsman saw the witch and they started to put the wolfhounds on her but Lord Gormanston had a kind heart and as soon as he saw them hunting her he stopped them. As a reward for his help the witch
