- Bronze Age Battle-AxeFound about 20 years ago on the "White Rock" about 2 miles from Duleek. Dr. Mahon of the Museum, Dublin, gave the following description of the above axe to a representative of the "Drogheda Independent". The description was published in the edition of 16/2/'35:-
"A beautiful little axe, of large dimensions, with strongly-curved cutting edge, a well-drilled hole for the shaft and a protruding knob at the end, has been deposited in the National Museum, Dublin by Mr. Willian Taaffe, of Newtown, Duleek, Co.
