  1. Birds are very numerous in this country in all seasons of the year, but particularly in Winter and Spring. During this time migratory or foreign birds arrive.
    Two species visit our shores during early and mid Summer. The swallows arrive about the 20th April each year and the Landrail or Corncrake a little later.
    About the 1st of November each year the game birds arrive - viz Woodcock, Snipe, Plover, Geese, Widgeon and Grouse and non game. The game
