    In Dollardstown there is a lovely cave.

    It is under the road but long ago it was not a cave but a lovely grotto with statues and holy images in niches in the wall.
    The ceiling is ornamented by lovely shells.
    The was a passage underground leading from Dollardstown House.
    People named lived in this house but since that it has been in the hands of various families.
