- At Rosnaree there lived an old man whose name was Johnson. When selling anything he would compose a rhyme about it. One time he was selling eels and he made a verse which ran like this;-
"Johnie Johnson has Eels for sale
As good as ever wagged a tail,
If you eat them raw they will stick in your craw,
But if you fry them on a pan
