    My father knew a man whose name was Jack Creegan. He was able to mow a meadow with a scythe in a 1/2 a day, and he told my father that when he was only 16 years of age that there were 30 men going to mow a meadow for Lord Athlumney of Sommerville, and the Steward gave 5(Shillings) to the man who went the farthest distance with one sharpening.
    They had plenty of liberty as there were 60 acres in the field. So Creegan won it for he crossed to the far side, and he told my father that he could cut.....
