Sheridan could have sent the man hurtling to the ground, yet he hesitated, fearing the fall night end the mans life, and left the theif to take what he wanted. The windows were barred up afterwards, and even to-day some of those iron bars remain to be seen. The house is situated in the townland of Ballinlough and is owned by Mr. Kelly, Rathmullen, Drogheda.
- The Legnanara Road is probably the oldest road in the locality. It leads from Kentstown Cross Roads to Fairland Cross. It is supposed to be one of the five great roads leading from Tara, in the days gone by
