    Michael Collier was born at the Spot in Lisdornan. His mother died when he was born. He was brought up with his uncle. When he grew up he became a highway man because he saw an eviction when he was young. He used to rob the Landlords and the mail coach running between Dublin and Belfast. He robbed the coach at Smithstown bridge on one occasion. When
