(45 years)- TreasuresIn Russel's Haggard in old Danestown, there's supposed to be buried a crock of gold just where there are the stands of two cornstacks. Mr. Pat Macken says he thinks that the treasure is buried between these two stack-stands. These stacks are square and are solidly built. This was a big long farm-yard at one time.In Butler's Lawn another treasure was buried on a moonlight night. It was buried in the shade of a big ash tree. Mr Rowntree owns Butler's of Staffordstown now.Mattie Kierans cut bushes off the hill called Saddle Hill and hot pains in his arms and died some time after.Written by
