    ago on the road leading from Curraha to Kilbrew where Fitzpatrick's farm-house now stands. It is also worthy of note that in Curraha Church there is a Baptismal Font with the twelve Apostles hand carved on it. This was unearthed some years ago in Crickstown Church-yard. It probably belonged to the monastery which flourished there in the 12th Century - the ruins of which stand yet in good preservation
