William Boylan Ratoath, Cabinhill, Co. Meath was returning from Dublin at ten o'clock one night. As he was passing "Jim's" lane - a very lonely part of the road, where there was a wood, a black figure sat up on the back of the cart. When they were about a mile of the road William turned around and said "are you going far?". He disappeared instantly before his eyes.Collected by the following pupils from their parents:-
