- (continued from previous page)Trim. It is now much higher than the surrounding land, due to the long centuries it is in use. One the North East side the remains of the old Chapel can be pointed out. They are now nearby lower than the graves around them. There are tall trees on the western side at the entrance gate, also some nice shrubs scattered through the graveyard. It contains no ancient tombstones. The oldest one at present standing was erected in 1704. Families from miles around came to be buried there. That shows that they were once residents of the parish.
The second graveyard I will describe is Clonee. it is in the farthest end of the parish, and in the olden times it belonged to the parish Kilconnagin, no Ballivor. It is near the River Boyne and also contained a Chapel of Ease. It is surrounded by a circular wall like Brannox-(continues on next page)
