    near her at all. She had a bit of a stick in her hand and she was beating the water in the stream until it came to froth. When it came to froth she drew it towards her and said "This is mine". She kept at this for about an hour and when she turned around the priest asked her what she meaning but she made some excuse and put it off. In a few days a certain woman in the district churned her milk as usual but when she looked into the churn they was nothing in it but a heap of froth and not one crumb of butter. She told her strange story to some of the neighbours but none of them could account for what happened. The next time she churned the same thing occurred. Her husband said there must be something strange connected with it and that he would go for bonot Sheridan. This
