There was a man named Kenny Living in Ballinheag Bog in a little house build on a stretch of upland. One night he was sitting by the turf fire when he saw the ashes stir. After a while an eel put his head up and looked at him. He crawled across the floor until he reached the dresser, his tail still in the ashes.
