- (continued from previous page)It was one of the fiercest in this Country and much damage was done. A house belonging to Ann Fagan, Ballivor, and six cocks of hay belonging to Jack Duffy, Coolronan were burned. The grass was burned up by the lightening and it is said that between each splash ten trees could be counted plainly in a wood a mile away.
