Co. Meath.St. Stephen's Day. It is a custom to go with the wren on St. Stephens Day. St. Bridgets Day. Long ago the people used to dress up the dash of the churn as a young lady and go about dancing from house to house. The people when going to bed used to shake straw for St. Bridget to wipe her feet on. The people hang up St. Bridget's crosses about the house.St. Patrick's Day.
