    a man living beside the field and he had a new lantern. Two lads decided to break the lantern. One night they went into the field and shouted "a man astray". The old man went out with the lantern lit and the two lads went behind him and broke the lantern in pieces with two stones.
    4. There is a place behind Frank Brides house where the tinkers used to make poteen.
    One night a tinker died and they buried him. Ever since the place is called the "GIants Grave" or the "Tinkers Grave".
