  1. Cure of Warts: Count the number of warts you have and count the same number of stones and put them into a little bag and when you come a crossroad leave the bag there, and the first person that takes up the bag will take the warts from you.
    Cure of sore throat: Lick a lizard under the throat
    Cure of toothache: Creep under a briar with the two ends growing, or creep through a window or under a rock.
    Cure of Ringworm: Rub a gold wedding ring on the spot where the ringworm is saying the words. In the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
    Cure of Burn: Lick a frog under the throat and then lick the place where the burn is or
    boiled train oil and bees wax mixed together or lime and water boiled together mixed with sweet oil
