    was built in the year 1913, by James Davis.
    There is a rath, and a moat in Rathkeenan.
    Some old flute players that often played at Parach, at the road dances, and Watts' old house at Corballis were:-
    Dowling, Constable, and Sheehan.
    There is an infant churrch in Corballis, opposite Nugent's, and another in Thomas Doren's field, called the Church-yard field.
    In the year 1881 the Ballivor tenants were rack-rented, and two men that appealed against the Landlord were:- James McKeon and John Cummins. They went several times to the Four Courts, Dublin, and got their land reduced.
    In 1903 James Keegan, Curraghmore, died, and his coffin had to be brought through the fields owing to one hundred trees being felled by the big wind
    Every house had a gresset for dipping candles
