    and her father followed her and beheaded her in Belgium. It is said that when a person dips a ribbon in the well and ties it around their head it will cure a headache. She is buried in Belgium. Kildalkey is called after Saint Dympna. There is a well beside the graveyard in memory of her. The fifteenth of May is the feast of Saint Dympna. There is supposed to be no bad disease within a certain distance of the well.
