Near my home their is a fairly big moat on which all kinds of weeds grow. The majority of these are a large, yellowish colour. It is said that a man who believed in fairies used to watch for them when it was dark at night. One night as he watched, a fairy came out from amongst the weeds. The man stayed very quiet, hardly daring to breathe and suddenly, as the fair came very close he made a grab at it, catching it in his big, hairy hand.
