  2. Once upon a time a man told me a story about a banshee. She was like a black cock he said.
    When his father died the banshee came around the house and cried for nights and nights.
    Another time a woman whose name was Mrs Daly of Killallon died. A banshee came and Nancy was staying with Granny and she told her that it was a dog. This banshee was in a big tree at Daly's house and stayed there for three months without ever going.
