    Its often I do ponder, how
    lonenly we would wander,
    Through old Danes Court, the
    Churchyard, and the Mill,
    Through Cliftons lonely bowers
    Its nooks and vales of flowers,
    For to view our own wee cottage from the Hill
    And when that cot was sighted,
    How silent how delighted,
    We strolled to hear the warblers songs of joy
    With all that nature blessing
