    Socks and stockings are knitted at home. The thread is bought in the shops.
    There are no spinning wheels in the district now.
    A lot of people get married in blue but there are no special colours worn.
    At funerals most people wear dark clothes but it is not always worn.
    On St Patricks Day people wear green.
    At Irish dances some people wear Irish Kilts.
