    fences round them.
The one on the green and the one in Otterstown have trees around them. On the one in "Gleann na Sagart" there is a hole in the side of it. Near it stands a lone bush. This bush is round and people say the fairies used to sit on it, and so if anyone cut this bush a fairy would appear.
The one in Mr Byrne's field has a hole in the top of it. There is a little path up to the door and it is called "the fairy path". There are not many forts around here.
