    Every one gets a pint of Indian porriage that was what the government sent to this district.
    The people were dying in great numbers during that time. A great plague followed this hunger and it was called the colera.
    Thousands took it anyone who took it died.
    In 1929 the potato crop was very scarce but caused no sickness.
