    When rain is due beetles can be seen crawling about the floor. The crickets sing sharply in the walls. When the smoke goes up in the air it's the sign of good weather. When the smoke blows down it's the sure sign of rain.
    There was a big snow storm on the 26th Feb. 1933. It knocked down people and they were never heard of again. There was a big wind in 1903. It knocked down houses, sheds, and trees. There was an other in 1838, and there were a lot of lives lost.
