    home from work. As he was coming along he heard noise. He listened. Then he saw a little man under a tree mending boots. He caught hold of the fairy and asked him for the crock of gold. The fairy said: "Look over there. That woman has the gold." When he looked over he saw nothing. When he turned round again the fairy was gone. Then the man had to go home without any gold. If ever you catch a fairy never let him go until he tells you where the crock of gold is to be found.
