    welcome. They obtain their supplies in the town shops. Sometimes they remain longer than a night and they sleep on the side of the road under a tent. They bring some food and the people give them some also. We give them sixpence and sometimes a couple of pennies. Some of them have carts and living - vans and more travel on foot. Some travel by them - selves and more travel in families and in bands. The name of one family is Muphys. They are horse dealers.
