This song was composed by John Fitzsiomns of Tullaghanstown Navan about the Dunderry Hurling team that won the 1934 Championship of Meath.
John, know as the Gael is a verry witty poet and has made numerous songs about various local happenings.I

To Dunderry Hurlers we now give a cheer
Dunboyne did not beat them
We congratulate them
On winning the medals in Jubilee year.II
The crowds they were roaring
While goals they were scoaring
Though short their two players Jim Sweeney and Yore.
We view them with pleasure
To win at their leisure

With Fullahan defending
the backs their aid lending
Where Brady and Sharkey did shine
