    6. Very often people get rheumatism especially old people. Plenty of exercise is the cure.
    7. If you get a cut and go to a stable where you would get cobwebs and put it on the cut it will be better in five days.
    8.For a cold take a drink made with blackcurrant jam and boiling water when going to bed.
    9. For a cold make a drink with lemon juice, whiskey, and boiling water.
    10. To cure warts
    a. Poultice them with a cold potato
    b. Squeeze the milkey juice of dandelion stems on them.
    c. Rub washing soda on them.
    d. Lick them first thing on waking in the morning
    e. Wash them in potato water.
    f. Cut a raw potato into seven pieces. Each night for seven nights put the wart with a piece of the potato. Go out and bury the piece each night after use. All the pieces must be buried in the same hole. By the time the pieces of potato have decayed the wart will be cured.
    g. Rub the warts with the inside of a broad bean skin.
